My experiences with Red Cross in Romania
My name is Ahd Al Jaradat, i am from Palestine Country and now i am in Romania as an International Volunteering in Solidarity for Nature Program with European Solidarity Crops ( ESC).
During
my participation with this program, i joined to several types of volunteering activities, such as working in workshops and lecture courses in schools, we
discussed important topics such as claiming changes, coordinated for the
cleaning campaigns in local gardens and parks and planting the land, activity
of the hiking in the natural places such as hills and mountains with local community
in Romania and more other activities.
In
this article i would like to talk about my experience in Romania with Romanian
Red Cross. Volunteering active reminds us what the meaning of solidarity
community is and how is to be a human being, belong to each other. I graduated
with Democracy and Human Rights, and now i am volunteering within the European
Solidarity Corps program. So, the notion of solidarity and volunteering
participation made me feel how to be an active person, locally and
internationally, human beings, to voluntary act in recognition of a need.
I
believe in the cause, i believe in the mission, believe in myself. This
commitment took me to be part of the humanitarian actions for backup all the refugees
people around the world, with different organizations can give all the support
to stuffing people and refugees because of the wars and conflicts in our world
the Red Cross. So i decided to be one of this supporting team and i started to
work with Romanian Red Cross as a Medical organization, and involved with their
Campaigns to help the refugees.
